The Salvation Army programs

The Redding Corps Community Center offers children's programs, teen programs and many adult programs available as well.

The Salvation Army in Redding has wonderful children's character building programs on Tuesday afternoons and a fun youth group for teens to enjoy on Friday evenings and several programs for adults to take advantage of.

We offer children's programs on Tuesday Nights for grade 1-6, youth programs for ages 12 and up as well as women's ministries for ages 18+,

SAY Programs

The children's programs (SAY Programs) range from grade 1-12. Their focus is on character building for the kids involved; there are many trips and events that the kids would be involved in that is sponsored by The Salvation Army. SAY Programs are on Tuesday's from 3:30pm-5:00pm.

For Teens

The teen programs range from ages 13-18 and provide a great time to get to know other teens, form friendships, learn about God, and fellowship with one another. The teen program is on Friday's from 6:00pm-8:00pm.

We have band practice on Wednesdays from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Adults and kids alike, if you're interested in learning to play a brass instrument, please come join us!

For Women

We have our Women's ministry group for woman 18+ on Tuesday mornings from 10:00am-12:00pm.

From 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, the women have what's called Home League which includes food, a devotion, a craft to go along with the devotion and a time for encouragement and prayer. From 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM the women have Holy Rollers, the philanthropic aspect of women's ministries. During this time, the women take donated craft supplies and price each item to then go to the thrift store to be sold in an effort to raise money for the local community and the services that the corps provides throughout the year.
