When you don’t know where the money for your next utility payment is coming from,
make an appointment with our Community Center Social Services Department to see if funding is available.
This type of funding is available based on donations to The Salvation Army. Monies are not always available, but if we can help, we will.

- Social Services - Our Social Services Office assists individuals and families with PGE utilities (REACH) and Shasta Lake utilities (SHARES). In addition, we provide food with HOPE MARKET Food Pantry Distribution & Homeless Food Bags every Tuesday and Thursday from 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM.
- Community Care Ministries - Each year our Women's Home League reaches out to Veteran's Homes to provide socks, blankets and small gifts of encouragement. Our donations weekly provide perishable food items to local agencies, food banks, teen centers and senior living centers.
- Holiday Assistance - The Redding Corps works tirelessly to offer services to those less fortunate during the Christmas holiday. Angel Tree toys are among the most common requests. Every year, hundreds of families in our county, with children receive toys for Christmas Day.
