  • Social Services - Our Social Services Office assists individuals and families with food, clothing, rental assistance (Project Stay In Your Home), and utilities.  In addition to food boxes and other basic needs,  we provide "Groceries for Veterans" every Wednesday from 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM, Food Pantry Distribution & Homeless Food Bags every Tuesday & Thursday from 9:00 AM - 11:30 AM.  We collaborate with the Redding HOPE Van in our back parking lot every Tuesday as well as providing Homeless Meals the 2nd Tuesday of each month 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM.

  • Community Care Ministries - Each month, a dedicated group of local volunteers visit nursing homes, hospitals and those who are home-bound in  the Redding area.  These volunteers strive to alleviate suffering by providing materials, comfort and a listening ear.

  • Holiday Assistance - The Redding Corps works tirelessly to offer services to those less fortunate during the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays.  Meal boxes and toys are among the most common requests.  Every year, hundreds of families, and children specifically,  are benefited.

  • Operation Transformation - In addition to our other family services, we offer Operation Transformation, a comprehensive program designed to foster physical, financial, spiritual and emotional improvement in the lives of low-income families in Shasta County.  By identifying goals and resources , providing life skills coaching and isolating barriers, we hope to help our clients break out of the poverty cycle and achieve self-sufficiency. Beyond simply meeting immediate needs, this longer-term program has been developed to suit each client’s personal needs and abilities.  The work is reinforced by identifying at least three personal goals per year and having weekly or bi-monthly evaluations with Program personnel.
